Mike Yocum has been an auto mechanic since 1980, a trade he learned on the job and perfected over the next 4 decades.
He acquired the basics when an independent shop owner took a chance and hired him, and he moved on to spend 14 years working for a dealership, where he received extensive computer and diagnostics training.
Mike spent 17 years in Montana, but the call to return to the lakes area of Minnesota grew stronger as each one of those years passed.
He finally answered that call, packed his bags, and made the journey back to Perham, where he went to work in a hometown repair shop.
