Ramona Motor Works is a family-owned automotive repair facility established in September 1994 by Frank A. and Alice R. Pecoraro to serve the Ramona, California community. Our founder Frank Pecoraro launched his automotive repair career in 1962 at American Motors Corporation, building decades of foundational industry expertise before opening our shop. Prior to founding our business, our family operated multiple Mobil Oil service stations across San Diego County from the mid-1970s until the final location was sold in 1992. We are a fully certified, full-service auto repair shop with extensive experience servicing all makes and models of passenger vehicles and trucks. Our team holds multiple industry-recognized certifications, including ASE Master Technician, ASE L1, Licensed California Smog Inspection and Repair, and Licensed Mobile Automotive Air Conditioning credentials. We complete all routine and complex automotive maintenance and repair services, from engine diagnostics and brake service to transmission fluid maintenance and cooling system repairs.

We adhere strictly to manufacturer-specified maintenance schedules and lubricant and fluid requirements to protect vehicle performance and longevity. For specialized repair services we do not offer in-house, we partner with a network of vetted, licensed local specialty shops to sublet work seamlessly for our clients.
