His Hands Auto Repair Ministry

His Hands Auto Repair Ministry was founded in 2001 by George Young with a mission to provide affordable automotive services to economically challenged individuals while serving the broader community. As a Christian faith-based organization, we combine technical expertise with spiritual values to address automotive needs through preventive maintenance, repairs, and state inspections. Our team of skilled mechanics and volunteers has served the Carlisle region for over a decade, operating as a PA Inspection Station and offering services like oil changes, brake repairs, and vehicle diagnostics. We maintain partnerships with local churches and community organizations to identify families in need, providing non-emergency repairs that ensure vehicle safety and legal compliance. While prioritizing assistance for financially struggling clients, we also serve the general public with suggested donation pricing to sustain our nonprofit operations.

Our facility includes a four-bay garage and auto sales lot, with all workday activities beginning with prayer for safety and gratitude. We emphasize transparency in operations, referring complex repairs to specialized shops when necessary, and counsel clients on vehicle maintenance solutions. Recognized for our community impact, we've expanded from a volunteer-based home operation to a permanent College Street location dedicated to service in Christ's name. Our commitment to quality workmanship and compassionate service reflects our core belief in using technical skills to fulfill God's calling for community support.
