Dan grew up around grease, grit, and good work ethic, literally. From riding along in a tow truck with his dad, a factory GM technician, to turning wrenches in his own garage, cars have always been part of his story.
After moving to Boise in 2004, Dan worked full-time as a mechanic while building side work into what became Sager and Sons Auto, a shop built on integrity, precision, and community. Today he leads the team specializing in advanced diagnostics, drivability, and complex repairs.

I truly trust them with my whole heart. They helped me finish up a full front-end replacement on my Durango and got it perfectly aligned and safe for the road again. They went above and beyond sending me photos and videos of everything they found and keeping me completely in the loop the entire time.
They even worked with me on pricing, knowing Im a single mom doing my best to make ends meet, and still gave me the best deal in town. Their honesty, kindness, and quality of work are unmatched. I highly recommend Sager & Sons to anyone and everyone looking for a trustworthy, reliable auto repair shop!

Im in town visiting family , and the battery on my car died without warning. My sister brings her vehicles to Sager & Sons, and called them to see if they could replace my battery. They were able to get me in right then, replaced the battery, cleared the error codes, and didnt charge me a cent for the shop time. So awesome!!! I truly appreciate them taking care of me as though I was a regular customer. And Shyanne was so helpful and sweet, and made sure I had all the information I needed. Thank you so much!!!

Very friendly and helpful employees. Shy was super helpful and explained everything to me perfectly and helped me get the trailer all set up with the help of two other employees. They were very nice and pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend using this place again for any trailer rentals I need in the future!

Dan and his crew were outstanding! He was able to get my truck in next day for repairs, was prompt with communications, speedy getting parts in, and made an extra effort to stay late just to finish repairs so I could pick up my truck when I needed it! Sager & Sons was also able to reprogram/reset some of my systems and saved me $$ on repairs I didn't need. I couldn't be more pleased and wholeheartedly recommend their services!
