Since opening Brad's Transmission Service in Sherwood Park in 2006, we have developed our business from a specialized transmission and driveline facility into a trusted provider of general automotive repairs. Our foundation comes from owner Brad's lifelong involvement in vehicle maintenance and restoration. Starting at age 10, he gained practical experience dismantling, repairing, and reselling vehicles. At 16, he partnered with his brother to incorporate their first transmission repair business. Over the years, he has successfully launched three transmission and driveline repair shops. Building on that experience, we now provide services covering transmissions, differentials, transfer cases, braking systems, steering, suspension, exhaust repairs, tune-ups, electrical troubleshooting, and vehicle heating and air conditioning. Our certified, fully qualified technicians carefully diagnose and address automotive problems.

Technical competence and consistent service quality define how we operate. We invest in current electronic diagnostic technology and apply effective repair techniques to deliver accurate results. Our transmission and driveline capabilities are respected throughout the automotive repair community, with other shops frequently entrusting us with their specialized repair requirements. We also prioritize continued technician education through seminars, classroom instruction, and technical publications. Our commitment is to provide sincere, honest service and complete repairs properly on the first attempt. We support our workmanship with a comprehensive written repair warranty and a satisfaction guarantee. Free estimates are available upon request.

Did a great job on my classic GTO turbo 400. A "go to" guy with knowledge of the 60's-80's performance and modified cars and trucks. Skills that are disappearing slowly in the industry. Trustworthy high quality workmanship.

Brought in my daughter’s older car with a complex issue and mentioned we didn’t want to spend a ton on an older car. They were great to help figure out the best solution for us. Very helpful and great to deal with. 100% recommend

Had my dad bring down my truck to see Brad and his staff as we thought the transmission was completely gone on it. When Brad and his team finally got the chance to look at it, we were told it was thankfully just the clip. Truck is running perfectly now and I am thankful to Brad for not taking advantage and saying it was the transmission anyways as some shops would. Will be returning in the future!
